Kai Wiechmann
The most characteristic feature of Kai’s work is his eye for the now – the fleeting present moment with all its different moods, forms, colours, fashions and faces. He tracks them all down and captures their essence, so his film and still photography work always keep a finger on the pulse of time. He creates his films confidence and accomplished execution and has a rare ability to think conceptually whilst also being hands-on.
Kai lived in New York and London for many years, but is currently based in Berlin, Germany.
